BOOKKEEPER
Rogue Rowing is a volunteer-led not-for-profit rowing club serving junior and adult rowers in the Rogue Valley of southern Oregon. We’re hiring a part-time bookkeeper to keep our finances accurate, current, and clearly reported to our Treasurer and Board. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization that values integrity, accuracy, and efficiency.
What you’ll do

Maintain our books in QuickBooks (or similar), reconciling all bank, card, payroll, and member-payment accounts on a monthly basis.

Administer member fees and payments through iCrew and PaySimple, and follow up on outstanding balances.

Process approved payments: vendors, insurance, utilities, USRowing, regatta costs, etc.

Track restricted funds (scholarships, grants) and prepare a simple monthly report (balance sheet and budget-vs-actual P&L) for the Treasurer.

Reconcile books and compile financial information for our CPA at year-end (May 15thdeadline).
What we’re looking for

Solid bookkeeping experience, ideally with a nonprofit or small organization.

Comfort with accounting software and Excel.

Accuracy, discretion, and the ability to work independently.

Familiarity with iCrew/PaySimple or fund/restricted accounting a plus.

Part-time, approximately 10-15 hours per week. Remote-eligible. Reports to the Treasurer.
